Terms of use and sale

These terms cover your use of www.lister.ai (the site) and any purchase of a position on a Lister ranking. The site is operated by Laby Labs OÜ, Sepapaja tn 6, Tallinn 15551, Estonia (Lister, we or us). By using the site, or by buying from us, you accept these terms.

Using the site

Rankings are editorial opinions

Each ranking is our assessment of its category when it was last updated, made under the rubric it states. The methodology page explains how rankings are made. Prices, features and other facts change, so check them with the company before you rely on them.

No warranty

The site is provided as is, for general information. We work to keep it accurate, but we do not promise that it is complete, current or free of errors, and nothing on it is professional advice. If you find a mistake, email hello@lister.ai and name the page.

Links to other sites

We link to the companies we list. We do not control their sites and are not responsible for what they contain or how they treat you.

Quoting and reuse

You may quote and link to any Lister page, with credit to Lister and a link to the page you quote. Do not copy rankings in bulk, republish them as your own, or use the site in a way that harms or disrupts it. For data access, ask about our API.

Privacy and email

The privacy notice says what we do with personal data, and the email policy says how we use email.

Buying a position

What you buy

You buy a position on a named Lister ranking: your company is placed at that position in the ranking for the term you paid for. Unpaid entries move down to make room, other paid positions keep their places, and a ranking holds at most ten entries. Your entry links to your website, and links from Lister to a company on a paid position carry rel="sponsored". Every company we list, paid or not, has its own company page on Lister; that page is not part of the purchase.

Which positions are sold

Positions 1, 2 and 3 are sold at the public checkout, at the prices shown there. Positions 4 to 10 are not offered at the public checkout: we offer them on request, to the companies we choose to offer them to, at a price we quote, through a payment link or an invoice we send you. Not every position on every ranking is for sale, and checkout will not accept an order for one that is not.

Who can buy

Positions are sold to businesses, buying in the course of their trade.

Price and payment

Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay. You pay once, in advance, by card through our payment provider Stripe, or by another method we agree with you, such as an invoice. It is a single payment, not a subscription: nothing is charged again unless you make a new payment yourself.

Term

A position runs for the term stated in the checkout you pay or the offer you accept, counted from the date your company is placed. Most positions run for 12 months, or for 24 or 36 months if you chose a longer term. Some offers state a shorter term: Gold on a new ranking, for example, runs for 6 months.

Placement and your entry

We place your company once your payment has cleared and we have what we need to write the entry, and we email you the live link. We write and edit the copy on every entry, paid ones included, from the facts you send us and what your company publishes. You can ask us to change it. We will not publish copy that is false, misleading or unlawful.

Renewal

Renewal is not automatic. Before your term ends we may email you an offer to renew the same position on the same ranking for a further term, with a link to pay. If you do not renew, the paid term ends and your company's entry stays where it is on the ranking. After a few weeks we normally review it, and a person may then move it to the position its score gives it, like any unpaid entry, which may be lower.

Refunds

You can ask for a refund by emailing hello@lister.ai with the ranking and the email address you paid with. A person reads every request and replies to it. An agreed refund is paid back to the card or account you paid from.

No promise of results

A position puts your company on a ranking. We do not promise any amount of traffic, any position in search engines or AI assistants, or any sales from it.

General

Liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, revenue or traffic. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, and the date at the top says when they last changed. A purchase is governed by the terms in force on the day you paid.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia.
