Top 10 Outsourcing Companies

10 ranked on capability, adoption, value, momentum and trust, with a plain verdict on every entry.

LISTER SCORE · UPDATED REGULARLY
For enterprise-scale outsourcing where a whole function moves to a supplier, Accenture, TCS and Infosys are the established choices, and the decision usually comes down to sector depth and delivery geography rather than capability. If you have already settled on Vietnam and need to find a vendor, Outsource to Vietnam is a direct route to vetted suppliers on a flat fee with no commission. For hiring individual engineers rather than contracting a function, Toptal and Andela are the two platforms worth comparing.

The ranking, in detail

01

Accenture

Runs finance, HR, procurement and IT for large firms

Accenture's managed services arm runs business functions on an ongoing basis rather than advising on them: finance operations (invoice to pay, customer to cash, record to analyse, tax and treasury), sourcing and procurement, talent and HR, customer service, supply chain, plus application, infrastructure, data and cybersecurity management. In the financial year ended 31 August 2025 that arm produced $34.57bn of revenue against a $69.67bn company total, so it is close to half the business rather than an add-on to the consulting brand. Revenue comes primarily from Forbes Global 2000 companies, governments and government agencies, and the majority of Accenture's approximately 779,000 people are in India, the Philippines and the United States.

Best for Forbes Global 2000 companies and government bodies handing over a whole function on a longer-term contract, particularly where one supplier needs to run finance, procurement, HR and IT operations across many countries at the same time.

02

Outsource to Vietnam

Directory of vetted Vietnamese outsourcing vendors

A directory for buyers who have decided on Vietnam and need to find a vendor, rather than an outsourcing provider itself. It lists vetted suppliers across six sectors, software and IT, BPO and call centre, high-tech manufacturing, traditional manufacturing, creative and digital, and logistics and supply chain, and puts buyers in direct contact with them. It runs on a flat fee with no commission taken on the work, and the site is published in eight languages including Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

Best for Buyers who have already chosen Vietnam as a destination and want to compare vendors directly rather than go through a broker
92.7
03

Tata Consultancy Services

Enterprise-scale process and IT outsourcing

TCS runs outsourced business operations for large enterprises through its Cognitive Business Operations unit, covering finance and accounting, supply chain and procurement, customer experience and HR, delivered on its TCS Cognix automation suite. The client stories it publishes for that unit are large multinationals, among them Lufthansa (finance), Morrisons (HR), Foxtel (customer experience), Tata Motors (accounts payable), AGL, Novolex and the British Council. It also takes on application-side IT work, such as the September 2026 agreement to move METRO AG from a country-specific application landscape to a centrally governed one.

Best for Large multinationals consolidating finance, HR, supply chain or application operations across several countries into one managed model
90.3
04

Infosys

Large-scale business process and IT outsourcing

Infosys runs outsourced business functions and IT estates for large enterprises. The business process work sits in Infosys BPM, a wholly owned subsidiary established in April 2002, covering finance and accounting, sourcing and procurement, customer experience, HR, supply chain, legal process, financial crime compliance and trust and safety; the IT side, including application development and maintenance, is delivered by Infosys Limited itself. The buyer is a corporate operations or IT leader moving an entire function to offshore and nearshore delivery, not a small business buying a single task.

Best for Large enterprises outsourcing a whole function, such as finance and accounting or procurement, on a long-term contract with offshore and nearshore delivery.
88.0
05

Cognizant

Whole operational functions run for large enterprises

Cognizant runs outsourced operational functions for large enterprises, taking over the running of the work rather than supplying people to a project: revenue cycle management, claims administration, enrolment and member services, provider data management, finance and accounting, marketing operations, omnichannel customer care and trust and safety. The horizontal offer is now branded Business Operations, with the older business process services URL redirecting to it, and it is sold across 13 industry service lines spanning banking, capital markets, communications media and technology, healthcare, insurance, life sciences, manufacturing, mortgage, retail, transport, travel and utilities. Healthcare is the deepest of them: the healthcare page names payers, providers and pharmacy benefit managers as the buyers, and the About page claims 20 of the top 25 healthcare plans as clients.

Best for Large enterprises handing an entire operational function to an outside vendor, particularly healthcare payers, providers and pharmacy benefit managers moving claims, enrolment and revenue cycle work off their own books.
85.7
06

Wipro

Enterprise-scale BPO and IT operations for global firms

Wipro runs outsourced business functions and IT work for large enterprises. Its business process services arm covers customer experience, finance, sales and marketing services, supply chain and operations including procurement, and people and change operations, and sits alongside separate service lines in applications, cloud, engineering, cybersecurity and data and analytics. Buyers are typically global companies handing a whole function over on a multi-year contract rather than buying project work: for the quarter ended 30 June 2026 Wipro reported large deal bookings of $1,626 million, including 13 large deals.

Best for Large multinational organisations outsourcing an entire back-office or IT function on a multi-year contract, particularly where multilingual delivery across several regions is required.
83.3
07

EPAM Systems

Software engineering teams staffed offshore and nearshore

EPAM is a software engineering and IT services firm: its own annual report describes core engineering, consulting, experience design and cybersecurity work rather than back-office process outsourcing. Most of its revenue comes from time-and-materials contracts billed at hourly, daily or monthly rates, so the commercial model is a standing team you rent rather than a fixed-scope project. Its largest delivery locations are India, Ukraine, Poland, Belarus and Mexico, and it reports five main verticals: financial services, consumer goods, retail and travel, software and hi-tech, business information and media, and life sciences and healthcare.

Best for Enterprises staffing multi-year engineering and managed-service programmes across nearshore and offshore locations, at team scale rather than one or two contractors.
81.0
08

Globant

Latin America and India delivery for US enterprises

Globant is a Luxembourg-registered, NYSE-listed technology services firm that sells outsourced software engineering, design, quality assurance and enterprise platform work to medium and large companies, organised into three Core Studios and eight AI Industry Studios. Its four largest delivery centres are in Colombia, Argentina, India and Mexico, while 52.8% of second-quarter 2026 revenue came from North America. Work is still sold mainly by the hour: time-and-materials contracts were 66.7% of 2025 revenues against 28.0% fixed price, with a subscription model called AI Pods added in 2025 and opened to any enterprise in August 2026.

Best for Medium and large companies that want a standing engineering, design and QA team rather than a fixed-price project. In the twelve months to 30 June 2026 Globant served 904 customers billing over $100,000, of which 331 billed more than $1 million.

Toptal

Vetted freelance network with managed delivery on top

Toptal sells outsourcing in three shapes: staff augmentation from its freelance network, Managed Delivery where a dedicated Toptal delivery manager runs a defined project from start to finish, and Managed Services where an ongoing function runs against a tailored SLA with a dedicated customer success manager. The network spans developers, designers, marketing experts, management consultants, product managers, project managers and sales experts, and the site shows engagements from a single contractor up to teams of 40+ for Priceline and 45+ for Tropicana and Okta. The work is delivered by freelancers, which is how Toptal describes its own talent, rather than by salaried staff.

From $79/month platform subscription, talent and project rates quoted separatelyBest for Buyers who want a named Toptal manager accountable for a project outcome or an ongoing function, rather than only a supply of vetted contractors to manage themselves
76.3
10

Andela

Embedded AI engineers from a 135+ country network

Andela places assessed engineers directly into a client's existing teams under its Blended Teams model, and runs scoped build work through a separate Managed Solutions track. Its engineers are grouped into three AI roles: Builder for AI application engineering, Integrator for AI systems engineering, and Scaler for AI platform and production engineering. The buyers are enterprise engineering and data leaders topping up teams they continue to run themselves, and Andela says it has served more than 650 organisations, naming GitHub, Goldman Sachs, SoFi and Johnson & Johnson among them.

Best for Enterprise engineering and data leaders who need to add assessed AI and software engineers to teams they already manage, with cover across multiple time zones.

Frequently asked questions

How much does outsourcing cost?

Almost none of the enterprise providers publish pricing. Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, EPAM and Globant all quote against scope, and the only way to get a figure is to enter a sales process. Toptal is the exception on this list, publishing a platform subscription with talent rates quoted separately. Expect enterprise managed-services contracts to be sized in the hundreds of thousands upward, and platform hiring to be priced per engineer per month.

What is the difference between outsourcing and staff augmentation?

Outsourcing moves responsibility for an outcome to the supplier, who runs the function and is measured on service levels. Staff augmentation adds people to your team who you direct yourself, and you keep responsibility for the outcome. Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro sell the first. Toptal and Andela sell the second. EPAM and Globant do both.

Which countries do outsourcing providers deliver from?

India remains the largest delivery base for the enterprise providers, with the Philippines, Poland and Latin America growing. EPAM built its business in central and eastern Europe, Globant in Latin America. Vietnam has grown quickly as a lower-cost alternative to India for software and manufacturing, which is the gap Outsource to Vietnam addresses.

Is a smaller provider safer than a large one?

Not automatically, but the trade-off is real. A large provider brings delivery scale across many countries and survives staff turnover. A smaller one gives you senior attention that a Global 2000 account would absorb elsewhere. The relevant question is whether your contract is large enough to matter to the supplier you pick.
